Our Approach + Values

The process of creativity is a process of doing. We embrace a culture that fosters creativity and encourages innovative thinking in design solutions to create delightful and emotive Architecture.

We are a small but dedicated practice which allows us to be adaptable to changing client needs, industry trends and technological advancements, we have embraced flexibility in our work ethic to stay relevant and responsive. We believe its important to maintain a persistent and personal relationship with our clients throughout the whole process, ensuring that we are always available when you need guidance and to promote shared aspirational goals between client and Architect.

We value high ethical standards in all aspects of our craft, which extends to an acknowledgement of the social impact of our projects. We strive to create spaces that promote inclusivity, health and wellbeing, accessibility, and enhance the overall quality of life for users and communities.

  • Halliday Clark pledge to take positive action in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency. We are committed to actively reducing carbon emissions through both the operation of our business and the buildings we design. We work closely with clients and like-minded consultants to ensure that all aspects of sustainability are integrated into our projects from inception to completion, and beyond. To help push this agenda, we are signatories to the RIBA 2030 challenge and Architects Declare.

  • We value simplicity, humility and a connection to nature. A well executed yet humble palette of materials can express these principles, creating a home that is more about essential living, than excessive luxury.

Simple, humble materials can contribute to a timeless and enduring aesthetic. By avoiding trends or overly ornate features, we aims to create a design that remains relevant and appealing over the long term

  • Good Architecture is measured by its emotional tug on each of us. Light plays a significant role in setting the mood and atmosphere of a home helping us to evoke an emotive connection with the space fostering a sense of tranquility, warm or vibrancy as desired.

It also aligns with our sustainable design principles, promoting eco-friendly practices in residential architecture by reducing our reliance on artificial lighting.

  • To give a truly personal touch with unique added value to our projects we will embrace detail solutions that showcase craft and artistry, either as a response to a client lifestyles or interests, or to honor local traditions respecting the heritage of the area and contributing to a sense of cultural continuity.

We believe this adds a human touch and a sense of authenticity to a project.

  • We love to explore opportunities for deliberate creation of framed views as a design strategy to enhance aesthetics, connect with surroundings, control light and shape the overall experience of the built environment for occupants.

Such framed views adds a dynamic aspect to the visual experience within a space. As occupants move through the home, the views change, offering variety and interest as perspectives shift.
